Cookies

We use cookies to enable you to browse the site comfortably and to continuously improve its functionality, performance and usability through traffic analysis. This enables us to better tailor the content of the site to your needs and preferences.

What are cookies?

Cookies are a standard tool for storing information relating to the use of websites.

Cookies are small text files that are created automatically when you visit each website and are stored within the browser you use on your computer, smartphone or other device. Thanks to session cookies, we are able to link your activities on our website until the moment you close your browser. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close the browser window.

Persistent cookies, on the other hand, remain on your browser or device for a set period of time and are reactivated each time you visit our website unless you manually delete them.

Division by function

  • Necessary cookies (essential): These cookies are always active and necessary for the correct functionality of the website. They are set to respond only to your activities (e.g. login details, language, font size and other display preferences). They allow us to make certain parts of the site accessible or to provide certain services to you. Without these cookies, you would not be able to add items to your basket, place an order or log in to your customer account.
  • Analytical cookies: They help us understand how you use the website. With their help we can improve it. We can use analytics to help us understand which pages you prefer and how you move around the web.
  • Profiling cookies (marketing cookies): These cookies allow us to show you relevant content and advertisements that you may find interesting and useful.

Granting of consent

For essential (necessary) cookies, consent is not required, here processing is based on legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). For other cookies, we automatically assume that you consent to the use of cookies if your browser has cookies enabled (processing occurs on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How can you set/limit cookies?

Setting the use of cookies is part of the internet browser you use, and most browsers automatically accept cookies by default. You can refuse cookies completely via your browser or restrict them to the types you select. However, this will also restrict the functioning of our website and you will not be able to use the functions offered by us to the full extent, including logging in to your customer account.

Alternatively, you can also use the browser's anonymous mode, which does not completely prevent the use of cookies, but does a better job of anonymising them and not storing a history of the websites you have visited.

For information on how to set your cookie preferences, please see the links below or other internet browser documentation:
